Good turnout for AGM

More than 60 concerned residents an officials attended the Groups’ Annual General Meeting last Friday.

Amongst the audience were Anthony Wright MP, Councillor Jim Shrimplin and Bernard Harris, Great Yarmouth Borough Services, all of whom Chairman Robert Stephenson thanked for their continuing support for the Group, and for their work in bringing the rock berm extension a step clearer by funding the preparatory documentation for the scheme, which Cllr Shrimplin revealed would begin at the beginning of February.

Also in the audience was Malcolm Kerby of Coastal Concern Action Group, who congratulated the Borough Council and the Group on their progress, and who reaffirmed his group’s mutual support.
